Modern and Chic Desert Elopement

This was my first visit to Joshua Tree National Park, and let me tell you, I fell hard for this desert landscape! This inspiration shoot was stunning and was filled with gorgeous details that included an intimate ceremony location, a flower arch and amazing outfits.

My day started at 3am when I hopped on a plane to Palm Springs. Traveling during COVID is interesting to say the least! Pretty sure that wet wipe isn’t going to help with all those germs, lol! Once I touched down in Palm Springs and grabbed my car, I was stoked to head out to the park.

I met up with a group of photographers at the Hidden Valley Picnic Area, located in Joshua Tree National Park. This area is pretty much the best of all worlds-there is a loop trail that takes you amongst the huge boulders where you can see people rock climbing, bouldering and just enjoying nature. There is a campground just to the side of this area as well, which could be an amazing add on to an elopement here! And of course there were Joshua Trees!

One of the things that I love about content days is gathering inspiration for my couples. I loved the non-dress option that Mariasha wore! It was a crystal studded pant suit that had me drooling, but the best part was when I found out that Jennifer Lopez herself wore this EXACT outfit to an awards show! Say what?!! James wore a beige suit that was subtle, but looked perfect next to the pantsuit. The florals were dripping with beauty-gah! Seriously just stunning all the way around!

After several visits to Joshua Tree now, I can honestly say that it is a perfect place to elope! I know so many cool places and all of the details to help you navigate the process, so what are you waiting for?
